Father God, thank You for Your Word and for the prophecies of Ezekiel. In the final description of Jerusalem, what becomes clear is that the temple, the sanctuary, Your dwelling, is to be at the very center. What a great lesson for us today, Father. You are to be in the very center of our lives. Not excluded from any place or activity. In fact, Holy Spirit dwells in us -- at our very center. We can truly say at all times: The Lord is here. Thank You, Father, for this gift. Amen

Father God, we marvel at Your mercy and Your grace. While we know it's possible to turn our backs on You and to reject salvation, Your mercy abounds when we go astray. Even though the Levites led the children of Israel in the worship of other gods, You still made a place for them in Your temple. They were still given a role to fill for Your Kingdom. It gives us great comfort to know that even when we mess up, You still have a place for us. You forgive us and welcome us back. Thank You for Your unending love and mercy. Amen

Father God, thank You for Your Word. Even though we may not grasp the importance of some passages, we know that ALL scripture is God-breathed and useful for us -- even today. In this world where tolerance is celebrated, and many know longer believe in good and bad, right and wrong. Scripture makes it clear that there is a difference between the holy and the common. Help us to discern the difference in our own lives, Father, and to judge everything by Your measuring reed, and not the whims of society. Thank You, Father. Amen----

We don't trust in our own righteousness, it is like filthy rags, but we trust only in You and the righteousness that is ours through Jesus. Father, help us to be doers of Your Word and not hearers only. Thank You for Your faithfulness, Your love and Your incredible mercy. Amen

Father God, thank You for Your Word. I confess, it's not always easy to read or to understand. So I ask that Holy Spirit give us insight, reveleation, fresh manna from the passages of scripture that we read. Your Word says that ALL scripture is God-breathed. It's to teach us, rebuke us, correct us, and to train us in righteousness. To thoroughly equip us for every good work. So we ask for supernatural understanding of the more difficult passages. And we know that You will give it. Thank You for hearing us when we pray. Amen

Or we don't do the things You have laid upon our hearts. Or we spend time in activities that aren't uplifting. Or we allow bad habits to remain in our lives. Or we trust in our own strength instead of Yours. Help us, Father, to be more faithful to You. May we listen intently for the whispers of Holy Spirit directing us in the way we should go. Thank You for Your patience with us, and for Your faithful love. Amen

Father, we will stand in the gap and intercede for those who do not know You. We know the time is short, and You don't want anyone to be lost. Guide us in what we should do and may Holy Spirit give us the words to say. Thank You, Father, for Your love and mercy. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
