Episode 89: Psalm 6
Friday Jan 07, 2022
Friday Jan 07, 2022
Today's meditation is on Psalm 6
My Father, God, doesn't condemn me. He doesn't rebuke or punish me with his fiery anger, but deals gently with me. God shows me mercy and is gracious to me. When I'm sick, frail and weak, he heals me. He puts me back together when I feel like I'm falling apart.
God turns to me and rescues my life. He never fails me. He saves me because of his unfailing, steadfast love and mercy. I praise him and remember his name in worship.
When I feel worn out from weeping and groaning, when I soak my pillow with tears night after night and flood my bed with weeping, when I struggle to focus my eyes of faith because of the sorrow that fills my heart and the enemies who come against me... God turns to hear the sound of my weeping.
Jehovah Rapha, the Healer, hears all my pleading. He takes hold of my prayers. My requests have all been grated, my prayers are all answered.
Cowards, my enemies disappear, shamed. Disgraced, they turn tail and run.
God is my rock and salvation. He is forever faithful. With every breath, I will praise his name.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Episode 88: Psalm 5
Thursday Jan 06, 2022
Thursday Jan 06, 2022
Today's meditation is on Psalm 5
I cry out passionately to God. My King and my God considers my every word as I call out to him.
At each and every sunrise God hears my voice as I prepare my sacrifice of prayer to him. Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on the altarand watch and wait for his fire to fall as he speaks to my heart.
I know that God is never pleased with lawlessness, and evil ones will never be invited into his house. Boasters collapse. Liars and evildoers are brought to an end. God hates hypocrisy and despises all who love violence.
But I know that I am invited and welcomed into the house of the Lord. I am covered by the abundance of his covenant of steadfast love and tender mercy. I come before him with deepest awe to obediently bow in worship and adore him.
God leads me in the pathways of his pleasure just like he promised me that he would. He smooths out his road in front of me, straight and direct, so that I will know where to walk.
I turn away from the smooth-tongued deceivers who flatter with their words. Their own schemes will be their downfall. The guilt of their sins will collapse on top of them.
But I take refuge and put my trust in God, and he welcomes me with open arms. I hide myself in the Lord and will continue shouting for joy forever! I am overshadowed and sheltered in his presence as I sing and rejoice. I burst forth with endless joy. How wonderfully God blesses me. His favor wraps around me as a shield and I am covered under his canopy of kindness and joy.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Episode 87: Psalm 4
Wednesday Jan 05, 2022
Wednesday Jan 05, 2022
Today's meditation is based on Psalm 4
The God of my righteousness answers me when I call. He is my Champion Defender who takes my side. He freed me when I was hemmed in. When I was in distress, he enlarged me. He is gracious to me and hears me when I pray, with no hesitation. He listens the split second I call out to him and he frees me.
I don't complain, but let my heart do the talking. I build my case before God and wait for his verdict. I will never forget that God works wonders for me. My honor and glory will not be turned into shame. The Lord has set me apart for Himself and dealt wonderfully with me. My character is honorable and I have the moral courage to do what's right.
The Lord hears and responds when I call to Him. In God I have more-than-enough. More joy in one ordinary day than the wicked have in a lifetime.
I meditate in my heart when I lie down in the stillness of the night. I reflect on my actions and repent of any rebellion I uncover.
I trust confidently in the Lord. The light of his radiant face breaks through and shines upon me. He has put joy in my heart. He has put my life back together. In peace and with a tranquil heart, I will lie down and sleep will come at once, for God alone makes me dwell in safety and confident trust. No matter what happens, I will live unafraid.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Today's meditation is on Psalm 3
In the depths of my heart I know that God is my Shield. He takes me and surrounds me with himself. He shields me on all sides. His glory and honor cover me continually. He grounds my feet and lifts my head up high.
I cry out to God with all my might, and his response thunders from his holy presence. He sends me a Father's help. Now I will lie down and sleep like a baby. I will awake in safety, fully rested, tall and steady, because I am surrounded and sustained with his glory.
Even though ten thousand dark powers prowl around me, I won't be afraid or intimidated. For God will rise up and save me. He will slap my enemies in the face, and break the power of their words to harm me.
The Lord alone is my Savior. What a feast of favor and bliss he gives me. His blessing clothes me.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Episode 85: Psalm 1
Monday Jan 03, 2022
Monday Jan 03, 2022
Today's meditation is on Psalm 1.
I am blessed, fortunate, prosperous and favored because I follow God’s ways! I do not walk in step with the wicked, seeking their counsel nor do I share the sinner's way. You won't find me sitting in the scorner's seat.
My passion and delight is to remain true to the Word of the great "I AM". I habitually meditate day and night on the true revelation of light.
I stand firm like a flourishing tree. I have been planted by God’s design, deeply rooted and fed by the brooks of bliss. I bear fruit in every season of my life. I am never dry, never fainting. I am ever blessed and ever prosperous in whatever I do.
But for the wicked, it's a completely different story. They are like chaff, worthless and without substance. They will be blown away by the wind. They won't endure the day of judgment, because God will not defend them. I don't envy them when it looks like they are succeeding and prospering more than I am. Nothing they do will succeed or endure for long, for they have no part with those who walk in the truth.
But how different it is for me as a righteous one of God! God charts the road I take. He embraces my path and I move forward.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Episode 84: Matthew 6:25-34
Sunday Jan 02, 2022
Sunday Jan 02, 2022
Today's meditation is based on Matthew 6:25-34 from the Passion Translation
I am not worried about my life, for all that I need will be provided: food, water, clothing — everything my body needs. There is more to my life than just the next meal. And there is more to my body than the clothes I wear.
I consider the birds. They don't worry about their existence. They don't plant or reap or store up food, yet my heavenly Father provides them each with food. And I know that I am much more valuable to my Father than the birds of the air. And I cannot add a single thing to my life by worrying.
Why would I worry about my clothing. I look at all the beautiful flowers of the field. They don’t work or toil, and yet not even Solomon in all his splendor was robed in beauty like one of these flowers! God has clothed the meadow with hay, which is here for such a short time and then dried up and burned, so I know he will provide the clothes that I need. So I put all of my trust in him.
I forsake my worries. I don't ask ‘What will I eat?’ or ‘What will I drink?’ or ‘What will I wear?’ For that's what the unbelievers chase after. My heavenly Father already know the things my body requires.
So above all, I constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness, knowing that then all these less important things will be given to me abundantly. I refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes my way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Episode 83: Future & Newness
Saturday Jan 01, 2022
Saturday Jan 01, 2022
Today's meditation is on the future and newness
I have a vision for my future. It is clearly written down. And although it has not become manifest in my life yet, I know that it will surely come in its appointed time.
God's plans for me are for good and not evil. He gives me a future and a hope. I have committed my work to the Lord, and he will establish my plans. I seek his Kingdom and his righteousness first, and I know that everything else will be added to me.
I am not envious of others, but trust in the Lord and do good. I take delight in him, and he gives me the desires of my heart. I commit my way to him and trust in him, and he makes my righteous reward shine like the dawn.
So I am strong and courageous. I do not fear, because the Lord my God goes with me. He will not leave me or forsake me. And if God is for me, who can be against me? I can do all things through him, because he strengthens me with his strength. I have put on the new self which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of my Creator. Because I am in Christ, the new creation has come: The old is gone and the new is here!
I don't dwell on the past. Forgetting what is behind, I strain toward what is ahead and press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me in Christ Jesus. I am watchful and stand firm in the faith. God is doing a new thing. I see it springing up all around me. He is making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Episode 82: Psalm 91
Friday Dec 31, 2021
Friday Dec 31, 2021
Today's meditation is based on Psalm 91 from the Passion Translation
I abide under the shadow of El Shaddai. I am hidden in the strength of God Most High. He's the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence.
He rescues me from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he protects me from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around me, protecting me. I can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping me from harm.
I will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against me. I don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble me, nor will the powers of evil be launched against me.
Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, I will remain unscathed and unharmed. I will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done!
I live my life within the shadow of God Most High, my secret hiding place, and I am always shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against me or disease infect me? God sends angels with special orders to protect me wherever I go, defending me from all harm.
If I walk into a trap, they’ll be there for me and keep me from stumbling. I’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath my feet!
For the Lord has said that because I love him, delight in him, and am loyal to his name, he will greatly protect me. He answers my cry for help every time I pray, and I feel his presence in my time of trouble. He delivers me and brings me honor. He satisfies me with a full life and with all that he does for me. I enjoy the fullness of his salvation.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Episode 81: Psalm 23
Thursday Dec 30, 2021
Thursday Dec 30, 2021
Today's meditation is based on the 23rd Psalm.
Because the Lord is my best friend and my shepherd, I don't need a thing. I always have more than enough. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. I am bedded down in lush green meadows. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss. He finds me quiet pools to drink from. That's where he restores and revives my life. True to his word, I catch my breath before he sends me in the right direction. He opens the right paths before me, and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name.
Even when I walk through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for God already has! He walks by my side. His authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of his love takes away my fear. I will never be lonely, because my Lord is always near.
God prepares a delicious feast -- a six-course dinner -- right in front of my enemies when they dare try to fight. I am anointed with the fragrance of his Holy Spirit. My cup overflows with blessing... more than I can contain.
So why would I ever fear the future? God's beauty and favor chase after me. Only goodness and tender love pursue me all the days of my life. And when my days on this earth are through, I will return to his glorious presence, and dwell in the house of God forever.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Episode 80: Romans 16
Wednesday Dec 29, 2021
Wednesday Dec 29, 2021
Today's meditation is based on Romans 16, from The Passion Translation
I belong to the Lord and am set apart for him. God provides me with whatever I need. And I serve him as a great leader and champion. I would risk my own life to save the lives of my brothers and sisters in Christ. I toil and labor extremely hard to benefit the kingdom.
I am joined into the Lord and am a partner in ministry serving the Anointed One. I have been tested and found to be approved by the Anointed One.
I diligently serve the Lord. I watch out for those who cause divisions and offenses. When they antagonize me by speaking of things that are contrary to the teachings that I’ve received, I am not caught in their snare! For people like this are not truly serving the Lord, my Messiah, but are being driven by their own desires for a following. Utilizing their smooth words and well-rehearsed blessings, they seek to deceive the hearts of innocent ones.
I gladly share the testimony of my deep commitment of faith. I am a scholar of all that is good and beautiful, and stay pure and innocent when it comes to evil. The God of peace swiftly pounds Satan to a pulp under my feet! And the wonderful favor of my Lord Jesus surrounds me. The grace and favor of Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, continually rests me.
I give all my praises and glory to the one who has more than enough power to make me strong and keep me steadfast through the promises found in the gospel; the proclamation of Jesus, the Anointed One. This wonderful news includes the unveiling of the mystery kept secret from the dawn of creation until now. This mystery is understood through the prophecies of the Scripture and by the decree of the eternal God. And it is now heard openly by all nations, igniting within them a deep commitment of faith.
Now to God, the only source of wisdom, be glorious praises for endless ages through Jesus, the Anointed One!
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.
