Meditating The Word
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8 Meditate means to muse, talk about, consider, meditate, sigh, sing. Our words have power (the power of life and death are in the tongue), but God‘s Word isn‘t just powerful, it‘s anointed. What if instead of speaking what we think about ourselves, we spoke God‘s Word over ourselves instead as a form of meditation? What if we personalized and prayed scripture as a form of daily meditation? Well, as God told Joshua, I believe that THEN you will make your way prosperous and THEN you shall have good success.

Today's meditation is on Psalm 134 & 135
I bless you, Lord, and lift my hands in holiness to you. I sing my song of blessing to you. You have blessed me beyond measure. Lord of heaven and earth, I worship you.
I shout hallelujah and praise your greatness. I praise you, Lord, because you are so good. I sing loving praises to your wonderful name. You have chosen me for your own purpose and called me your special treasure. Before the foundations of the earth, you chose me.
Your greatness is unequaled, Lord. You are far greater than any other god. You do whatever pleases you throughout all of heaven and earth and in the deepest seas with unlimited power and authority. You makes mists rise throughout the earth; you send the lightning and thunder, and bring the wind and rain out of your heavenly storehouse. You have done great miracles -- mighty signs and wonders throughout the history of the world, and even in now.
O Jehovah, your name endures forever; your fame is known to every generation. You will vindicate your people and have compassion on your servants.
The unbelievers worship what they make. They worship their wealth and their work. They idolize what they own and what they do. But their possessions will never satisfy. Their lifeless and futile works cannot bring life to them. Their things can't talk to them or answer their prayers. They create idols with speechless mouths, sightless eyes, and ears that cannot hear; they cannot even breathe. They are dead idols and everyone who trusts in these powerless, dead things, will be just like what they worship -- powerless and dead.
I bless you, Lord Jehovah. I bless your name. I trust and reverence you, bowing low before you. I praise you, Lord, for you have chosen to abide with me.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Today's meditation is based on Psalms 130, 131 and 133
From the depths of my despair, I cried out to you, Lord. And you heard my prayers. You don't remember my sins. You hold nothing against me. Your forgiving love is what makes you so wonderful. You have forgiven me and my sins have been erased, as though they never happened. What an awesome thing this is and what an awesome God you are. That is why I wait expectantly, trusting in you, God, expecting a breakthrough. Your word brings me hope. I trust in your promises. I long for you more than any watchman would long for the morning light. I will watch and wait for your O, God, throughout the night. My hope is in you. You are loving, kind and forgiving. You have a thousand ways to set me free. You come to me with salvation and armloads of blessings. You yourself redeemed me and ransomed me from my slavery to sin.
Lord, I am not proud and haughty. My heart is meek before you. I don’t consider myself better than others. I don’t pretend to “know it all,” and I'm content to not purse matters that are over my head--such as your complex mysteries and wonders--that I'm not yet ready to understand. I am humbled and quiet in your presence. Like a contented child, I am fully satisfied and my begging has been stilled. My soul is content in you. I quietly trust in you now, and always.
How wonderful it is, how pleasant, when I live in sweet unity with those around me. Harmony is as precious as the fragrant anointing oil flowing from the head of Aaron the high priest, dripping down his beard and running all the way to the hem of his priestly robes. Harmony as refreshing as the dew on the Earth. God, you have decreed your eternal blessing on the redeemed, even life forevermore.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Today's meditation is on Psalm 126-129
When you ransomed my life, Lord, it was like a dream come true! I laughed and sang, and overflowed with gladness. I shouted for joy, singing your praise. People see the change in my life and say, "What great miracles the Lord has done." Yes, you have done great things for me, Lord. Mighty miracles and I am overjoyed. You have refreshed me as by streams in the desert. You have restored me. I may have sown in tears, but now I am reaping a harvest of joy. I went out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, and returned singing, with armloads of blessing and a harvest overflowing.
Lord, I know that unless you build a house, the builders’ work is useless, they labor in vain. If your mercy doesn't protect a city, all the sentries in the world will do no good. It really is senseless to work so hard from early morning till late at night, toiling to make a living for fear of not having enough. You can provide for me even while I sleep. Children are a gift from you, O God; they are your reward. Children born to a couple will one day rise to protect and provide for their parents. My children will not bring shame, but victory. They will have influence and honor.
I love you, Lord. You have blessed me beyond measure. I trust in you completely, and obey your word. You reward me with prosperity, happiness and well-being. I am content in my home. My family sits around the dinner table as vigorous and healthy as young olive trees. That is your reward to me, Lord, because I reverence and trust you. You continually shower me with heaven’s blessings as well as with human joys. I will live a long and vibrant life.
I have been attacked by the enemy, Lord, but not destroyed. You are so good to me. You snapped the chains that had me bound and you set me free. Your blessings are upon me. I am blessed in your name, O Lord.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

I am glad to come to the house of the Lord to thank and praise you. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. My love for her prospers me. May there be peace within her walls, and prosperity in the homes of her people. I intercede for the sake of all your chosen people who live there, that they may live in peace. For the sake of your house, my God, I seek the welfare and prosperity of Jerusalem.
O God enthroned in heaven, I lift my eyes to you in worship. I look to you the way a servant wants to please his master. I look to you with passionate longing to please you and discover more of your mercy and grace. I am so grateful for your mercy and unfailing love.
Lord, if you had not been on my side, I would have been swallowed alive by the enemy, destroyed by circumstances. I would have drowned beneath the chaos of a fallen and cursed earth. But blessed are you, O Lord. You did not let the enemy devour me. You sent a redeemer. You ransomed me and paid my debt. The snare is broken and I am free. My help is from you, Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. You are my helper and defender.
I trust in you, Lord, and I am steady and unmovable as a mountain I will not be shaken by any circumstance. Your wraparound presence surrounds me, protecting me now and forever. The wicked shall not rule over me. Lord, you are so good to me. You have given me right standing, and I am devoted to you with all my heart. In you, I have quietness, peace and prosperity.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

I look up to the mountains, but that is not where my strength comes from. My strength and my help come from you alone, God, the Creator who made the heavens, the earth and the mountains.
You will guard and guide me, never letting me stumble, slip or fall. You are my keeper. You are always watching out for me. You never doze off or sleep. You'll never forget or ignore me.
You are my guardian. You care for me. You are my defender. You're always right at my side to shelter me safely in your presence. You protect me from danger both day and night.
You guard me from every form of evil or calamity as you continuously watch over me. You preserve my life. You watch over me as I come and as I go. You guard me now. You guard me always. You will protect me forever.

Today's meditation is on Psalm 119:126-176
Lord, I love your word. Your message of truth means more to me than the finest gold. Every word you speak, every truth revealed, is always right and beautiful to me. I reject what is false or phony.
Your laws are wonderful. Your marvelous words are living miracles; no wonder I long to obey everything you say. Revelation-light shines out when I study your word. You give me insight into your plans.
You have shown me grace and mercy, as is your way with those who love you. You have prepared a path before me that is filled with your promises. You guide me with your laws so that I may overcome evil with good. You have rescued me from oppression. You look down in love upon me and teach me what is right in your eyes. I weep when I see how your laws are disregarded and ignored by the world.
O Lord, you are just. The motive behind your every word is pure, and your teachings are remarkably faithful and true. I'm consumed with passion to do what's right, and I am indignant with a holy, righteous anger, when I see how your laws are disregarded. I have thoroughly tested your promises, and that is why I love them so much. I may be despised by the world, but I will never abandon your ways.
Your righteousness has no end. It is everlasting. Your laws are perfectly fair. Even when troubles try to overwhelm me, your word comforts me. I delight and cherish every message you speak to me. Give me more revelation so I can live for you. Nothing is more pure and eternal than your word.
I am praying with great earnestness, O Lord, and I thank you that you hear me always. Early in the morning before the sun is up, I am praying and declaring how much I trust in you. I wrap your words into my life. I lie awake at night and think about your promises to me. Your love for me is real. You breathe life into me by the revelation of your word. You word makes me whole.
You are near me always, Lord, nearer than my breath. Your word is true and steadfast. I have known from my earliest days how true and unchanging is your every word. Your word is established forever.
You have given me back my life again just as you promised. Lord, how great is your mercy. Your word is life, it revives me and strengthens me.
No matter what happens, no matter what comes against me, I will not swerve from your will. I really love your word. It is life to me and health to my flesh. Your loving-kindness is everlasting. The sum total of all your words adds up to absolute truth, and every one of your righteous decrees is everlasting.
I stand in awe of only your words. Your promises are my source of joy. The revelation of your word thrills me, like discovered treasure. How I hate all falsehood, but how I love your word. I will praise you seven times a day because your ways are perfect.
I have such great peace and well-being, of heart and mind, because I love your word. I will never stumble or be offended. I am so grateful for your salvation, Lord. I search your word for understanding, I love your word more than I can say. In my innermost being, I want to follow your word perfectly. I will keep your instructions and I will follow your counsel. You know my heart, Lord. Everything I do is known to you.
O Lord, listen to my prayers, they are like a sacred incense, a sacrifice to you. I long for even more revelation of your word. Keep me safe from harm as you said you would. I offer you my joyous praise for all that you've done for me. Your wonderful words will become my song of worship. Everything you've commanded is perfect and true.
Place your hands of strength and favor upon me, for I've made the choice to follow your ways. Lord, I rejoice in your salvation, and your law is my delight. I will praise you as long as I have breath. Your truth is my strength.
When I wandered away like a lost sheep; you came and found me. I will never turn away from you. I will never forget what you've taught me, Lord. I am your beloved.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

I love to talk about your word with fellow believers who trust in you and fear you. Help me to love your every wish. Make me passionate and wholehearted to fulfill your every wish. I will never be ashamed of loving you.
My heart is filled with gratitude for your salvation. You have given me great and precious promises. And I wait with expectancy to see your promises fully manifest in my life. I will not grow weary in waiting, but will cling to your Word and obey it. I will never forget your living truth. No matter what comes against me in the natural, I refuse to yield and disobey your laws. In your kindness, you ransomed my life. Revive me with your tender love. I will continue to obey you as long as I live.
Forever, O Lord, your Word stands firm in heaven. Your faithfulness extends to every generation, like the earth you created; it endures by your decree, for everything serves your plans. Everything you created sits firmly in place to testify of you.
I would have despaired and perished, but your Word has been my deepest delight. I will never cast it aside. I cannot forget the profound revelations you have taught me. I have used your Word to restore my joy and health. I am yours. You are my savior. I seek to live my life pleasing to you. Even though trouble may be around me, I will quietly keep my mind upon your promises. I have set my heart before you to understand more of your ways.
I have learned that there is nothing perfect in this imperfect world except your words. Oh, how I love them. I think about your words all day long. They bring freedom into my life. They make me wiser than my enemies because they are my constant guide. Wiser than my teachers, for I am ever thinking of your rules and absorbing your eye-opening revelation. They make me even wiser than the aged, because I do not fail to walk in the light of your ways.
I refuse to bend my morals when temptation is before me, but I will remain obedient to your Word. I won’t turn away from what you have taught me -- not even from the difficult truths. You have taught me to love your Word. Your living promises are sweeter to me than honey. They are revelation light. Only your Word can give me wisdom and understanding, and I hate every false teaching.
Your words are a shining light of truth, guiding me in my choices and decisions. They light the path ahead of me and keep me from stumbling. To live my life by your righteous rules is my holy and lifelong commitment.
When I was close to death, you breathed life into me again by your living Word. Accept my grateful thanks and teach me your desires. No matter what happens, I will keep following what you've taught me. I will not turn aside. Your laws are my joyous treasure, filling my life with gladness. I have determined in my heart to obey whatever you say, fully and forever.
I don't understand those who can't decide whether or not to follow you. My choice is clear—I passionately love your law. You are my refuge and quiet retreat. Your wraparound presence is my shield as I wrap myself in your Word. Your promises are my only source of hope. Lord, strengthen my inner being by the promises of your Word so that I may live faithful and unashamed for you. Lift me up and I will be safe. Empower me to live every moment in the light of your ways.
Let me hear your promise of blessing over my life, breaking me free from the oppressor. I praise you for redeeming me and providing me with a salvation that is complete, lacking nothing. Let me feel your tender love, for I am yours. Give me understanding of your wonderful ways. Give me common sense to apply them to everything I do. I need more revelation from your Word to know more about you, for I am in love with you.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Your laws are right and good, O Lord. And I long to obey them. You have promised to renew my life, it's part of the complete salvation you have provided. You saved me by your kindness. Your tender love overwhelms me. You are my savior, and you always keep your promises.
I will remember your words and meditate on them, for they are my only hope. I will obey you forever, observing your laws every moment of the day. Within the limits of your laws, I walk in complete freedom. I will tell others about all of the benefits of keeping your commandments, and I will never be ashamed.
How I love your laws, O Lord. My passion and delight is in your Word. I love what you say to me. I long for more revelation of your truth. I love the light of your Word as I meditate on it and let it fill my life.
You will never forget your promises. Your Word is my hope and my confidence. It gives me strength in all my troubles. Your Word refreshes and revives me. I'm encouraged every time I think about your truth. I will stand unmoved in my obedience to you, Lord. From my earliest youth I have tried to obey you, and your Word has been my comfort.
Your Word is my source of joy and singing as I journey through life. Throughout the night I think of you. I treasure your Word to me. What blessings are mine, as I follow your ways.
You are my satisfaction, Lord, and all that I need. I am determined to do whatever you ask, to go wherever you lead me. With all my heart I see your favor. You are merciful just as you promised, and you pour out your grace over me. When I realize I'm going astray, I turn my thoughts to you and your loving kindness. I turn around and come running back to you. I am firmly anchored to your laws.
In the middle of the night, I will rise to give my thanks to you for your revelation light. My brothers and sisters, are those who fear and trust you and obey you. O Lord, the earth is full of your loving-kindness. Teach me your good paths. Give me more revelation of your ways.
Lord, I am overflowing with your blessings, just as you promised. And your extravagant kindness makes me want to follow your words even more. Teach me good judgment as well as knowledge. For your laws are my guide. I will closely follow all you say. You are good and do only good. Everything you do is beautiful, flowing from your goodness. Teach me the power of your wonderful words. I am passionate to follow all that you say.
You correct me with your Word, and teach me your ways. The words you speak to me are worth more than all the riches and wealth in the world.
Your very hands have held me and made me who I am. Give me more of your revelation-light so I may learn to please you more. May everyone see how you treat me with your tender love and mercy and want to draw even closer to you. Your words are entwined with my heart. And I trust in you alone.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

I am only truly happy when I walk in total integrity in the light of your Word. Joy overwhelms me when I keep your ways, O God, and seek you as my heart's passion. I reject any compromise with evil and walk only in your paths. Your Word shows me the right way to live, and I want to follow your Word consistently. I will never be ashamed to follow you. Your Word gives me strength.
When you correct me, I show my thanks to you by living as I should. Help me to always obey and not to slip back into sin.
I can remain pure by reading your Word and walking in its truth. I will seek you always. Don’t let me wander off from your instructions. I keep your Word before my eyes and in my thoughts, storing it in my heart to keep me from being distracted by the things of this world.
Blessed Lord, teach me your rules. I speak your Word over my life, I rejoice in your Word more than in riches. I meditate upon it and give it my full attention. My delight is found in your Word, and I won't forget to walk in it.
You have blessed me with abundance of life so that I can continue to obey you. Open my eyes to see the miracle-wonders you have hidden in your Word for me. I am but a pilgrim here on earth: how I need a map—and your commands are my chart and guide. I long for your instructions more than I can tell.
Even when others talk about me and mock me, I will continue to follow you. Your Word is both my light and my counselor.
When I am discouraged, you revive me by your Word. I have poured out my life before you, telling you all of my plans, and you are always there for me. Give me your instructions, Lord. Teach me more of your holy ways. Open up my understanding to the ways of your wisdom, and I will meditate deeply on your splendor and your wonders, and I will see your miracles.
When I weep with grief; when my heart is heavy with sorrow; you encourage and cheer me with your Word. Keep me far away from what is false; give me grace to stay true to your ways, for I have chosen to obey your truth. I cling to your Word and follow it as closely as I can. Lord, don’t let me make a mess of my life. Help me to want your will, not my own. I will run after you with delight in my heart.
Just tell me what to do and I will do it, Lord. Give me revelation about the meaning of your ways so I can enjoy the reward of following them fully. Give me an understanding heart so I can passionately know and obey your truth. Guide me into the paths that please you, for I know how delightful they really are.
Help me to prefer obedience to making money! Turn me away from illusions so that I pursue only that which is true. Drench my soul with life as I walk in your paths. Revive my heart toward you. Reassure me that your promises are for me, for I am your beloved.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.

Meditating The Word
What if instead of speaking what we think about ourselves, we spoke God‘s Word over ourselves? What if we personalized and prayed scripture as a form of daily meditation?
That's the goal of this podcast. No filler, no ads... just God's Word personalized in the form of a daily confession.
