Episode 400: God With Us
Today's Prayer Meditation is on God With Us
From eternity to eternity, Father, your faithful love is toward me because I fear you, and your righteousness is toward my descendants.
You go before me. You are with me always and will never leave or forsake me. Of what should I be afraid? or why should I be dismayed?
I am strong and courageous. I am not in fear or dread of anyone or anything, because you are with me. No one can stand against me all the days of my life, because you are with me always.
I am content, Father. You are more than enough for me. Your constant presence is all that I need. You are my helper. I will not fear. What can people do to me?
You have commanded me to be strong and courageous and to not be afraid, because you are with me wherever I go. I am not afraid, because you are with me. I am not dismayed, because you are my God. You strengthen me and help me. You uphold me with your righteous right hand.
You are merciful, Father. You will not leave me or forget the covenant you swore to me. You are with me always. Even to the end of the age. You are on my side. So I have nothing to fear.
I come to your throne of grace with confidence, and receive mercy. You pour out your grace on me in my time of need.
I know that no matter what happens in my life, you are working for my good. You have called me according to your purpose. You will always provide a way through, around, or over anything that comes against me.
So I'm not anxious about anything. Instead I come to you in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. I bring you my requests, Father, and your peace which surpasses all understanding guards my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus.
You haven't given me a spirit of fear, but of power and love and self-control. I have forsaken my own ways and my own thoughts. I turn to you, Father, and you have compassion on me. You have abundantly pardoned all of my mistakes.
I know that you are with me, so who could possibly stand against me?
You command your lovingkindness in the daytime and your song is with me in the night. A prayer to you, Father, the God of my life.
You are before all things, and you hold all things together. You are my stronghold. You are over all, through all and in all.
I am a temple, made without hands, and your Spirit dwells in me. You are closer to me than my very breath. Your spirit dwells in me and speaks in me. I live by the Spirit and I also walk by the Spirit.
You are my God forever and ever, you will guide me until death.
You are mindful of me and you bless me. Your favor is upon me. You confirm the work of my hands.
There is only one God, you, Father, from whom are all things. I exist for you. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and I exist through him. I have joined myself to Jesus, and I am one in spirit with him. Just as you, Father, are in Jesus and he is in you, I also am in you.
By this is your love manifested in me, you sent your only begotten son into the world so that I might live through him. By this I know that I abide in him and he in me, because you have given me your spirit.
I have no desire to go anywhere that your presence will not go with me.
You are at work in me, both to will and to work for your good pleasure. You are my helper. You are the sustainer of my soul. You are in the midst of me, and I will not be moved. You will help me when morning dawns.
My soul waits in silence for you alone, Father. My hope is from you.
So be it.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.
