Episode 342: Jeremiah 17
Today's Prayer Meditation is on Jeremiah 17
Your word is engraved on my heart. You have reserved a wonderful possession for me, and I will not let it slip from my hands by putting my trust in mere humans. I do not rely on human strength or turn away from you, Father. You are my hope for the future.
I am blessed because I trust in you. I have made you my hope and confidence. I am like a tree planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. I do not fear the heat or even long months of drought. My leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. My fruit is dependable, no matter what I face. My life is rich and productive.
Father, you search my innermost heart and examine my innermost thoughts and secret motives. And I have been justified, cleansed and made whole. You do not give me what I deserve, but so much more. You have given me to power to gain wealth -- not by unjust means, but by following godly principles.
I worship at your throne. From the beginning, you have always been exalted. You are eternal, high and glorious. You are my hope. You are the fountain of living water. All who turn away from you will be disgraced.
You healed me, and I am truly healed; you saved me, and I am truly saved. My praises are for you alone! I have not run away from my calling. I go where you lead me and I do what you ask me to do. You alone are my hope when disaster comes. You do not let me experience shame and dismay.
I enter into your Sabbath rest, Father.
So be it.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.
