Episode 335: Jeremiah 9

Today's Prayer Meditation is on Jeremiah 9

I do not tell lies, but stand up for the truth. Deceit will never triumph. I know you, Father, and you are transforming me from glory to glory. 

Test me like metal, Father. Refine me with your holy fire. You have put a new heart and a new spirit in me. I am instructed by you. And I am obedient to your direction and I walk in your ways. I do not stubbornly follow my own desires or put anyone or anything above you in life. 

I do not boast in my own wisdom; any wisdom I have comes from you. 
I do not boast in my own power; you are my strength.
I do not boast in my riches; for you are the one who has given me the power to obtain wealth.

I boast in this alone: That I truly know you and understand that you are the Lord. You demonstrate unfailing love. You are faithful, Father. You bring justice and righteousness to the earth. These are the things that delight you.

I am circumcised, not in the flesh, not by the letter of the law, but inwardly -- a circumcision of the heart by your Spirit. 

So be it.
