Episode 331: Jeremiah 5
Today's Prayer Meditation is on Jeremiah 5
Father, you are searching for honesty. I was once stubbornly set in my ways. But I have repented of my sins and rebellion. Now my face is set like stone toward you. I am determined to walk in your paths of righteousness.
Teach me your ways, Father. Help me to understand your laws. I gladly take on your yoke and follow your guidance and correction. I know your burden is light. You have broken the chains that once had me bound.
My rebellion was great and my sins were many. But your love is greater still. You pardoned me. You have forgiven my sins past, present and future. You provide for my every need.
Open my eyes, Father, so I may see. Open my ears so I may hear and understand your word.
You define the ocean’s sandy shoreline as an everlasting boundary that the waters cannot cross. The waves may toss and roar, but they can never pass the boundaries you set.
I will not turn away from you or abandon you, Father. From the depths of my heart, I want to live in your presence in awe of you. You give rain each spring and fall. And you assure me of a rich harvest for my work. You have showered me with wonderful blessings and many good things.
I take the side of the orphaned to help them prosper. I give generously to help the poor. You have made me great and rich. And I honor you by doing good deeds.
So be it.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.
