Episode 240: John 11

Today's meditation is on John Chapter 11

Jesus was careful with his words. When Lazarus died, Jesus said he was sleeping, because he knew that he was going to raise him from the slumber of death. He returned to Judea at great personal risk, but he knew that because he was operating in the will of the Father, he would be kept safe. 

Jesus is the resurrection and the life. I believe in him and will live, even though my earthly, physical body may die, my spirit is eternal. I believe this, because God's Word says that it's true. Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God who came into the world to save me from spiritual death. 

I believe and I will see the glory of God. I thank God that he hears me always, because I pray according to his will. 

Jesus called me forth from death to life. But he didn't stop there, he took off my grave clothes, the sins and my past that had me bound, and he set me free. 

In his great wisdom and mercy, Father God sent one man -- Jesus -- to die so that the whole world might be saved.
