Episode 145: Psalms 122-125
Today's meditation is on Psalms 122-125
I am glad to come to the house of the Lord to thank and praise you. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. My love for her prospers me. May there be peace within her walls, and prosperity in the homes of her people. I intercede for the sake of all your chosen people who live there, that they may live in peace. For the sake of your house, my God, I seek the welfare and prosperity of Jerusalem.
O God enthroned in heaven, I lift my eyes to you in worship. I look to you the way a servant wants to please his master. I look to you with passionate longing to please you and discover more of your mercy and grace. I am so grateful for your mercy and unfailing love.
Lord, if you had not been on my side, I would have been swallowed alive by the enemy, destroyed by circumstances. I would have drowned beneath the chaos of a fallen and cursed earth. But blessed are you, O Lord. You did not let the enemy devour me. You sent a redeemer. You ransomed me and paid my debt. The snare is broken and I am free. My help is from you, Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. You are my helper and defender.
I trust in you, Lord, and I am steady and unmovable as a mountain I will not be shaken by any circumstance. Your wraparound presence surrounds me, protecting me now and forever. The wicked shall not rule over me. Lord, you are so good to me. You have given me right standing, and I am devoted to you with all my heart. In you, I have quietness, peace and prosperity.
Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing.
