Episode 134: Psalm 103

Today's meditation is on Psalm 103

With my whole heart, with my whole life, and with my innermost being, I bow in wonder and love before you, O God. You are my soul's celebration. I bless you Lord and I will never forget the miracles of kindness you have done for me.

You have forgiven all my sins. You kissed my heart with forgiveness. You have healed me inside and out from every disease. You have ransomed me from hell. You crown me and surround me with loving-kindness and tender mercies. You fill my life with good things. You have supercharged me. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s. You give justice to me when I am treated unfairly. You have revealed your will and nature to me through your written Word.

You are merciful and tender toward me, even when I don’t deserve it; you are patient with me. Your love is like a flooding river overflowing its banks with kindness. You never bear a grudge. You don't look for faults in me. You have not punished me as I deserved for my sins, but sent Jesus to ransom me and pay the price for those sins. You discipline me in love through your Word. 

Your mercy toward me is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. You have removed my sins as far away from me as the east is from the west. You are my Abba, Father; tender and sympathetic to me. I reverence you. You know my days on earth are few and brief, like grass, like flowers, blown by the wind and gone forever.

But your loving-kindness is from everlasting to everlasting. You have provided your complete salvation to me. You have adopted me as your child. You are faithful to keep every gracious promise you've made from generation to generation. I will be faithful to your covenant and remember to obey you.

Lord, you made the heavens your throne; from there you rule over everything there is. Your mighty angels carry out your orders, listening for each of your commands. Your armies of angels serve you constantly and bless your name. Let everything everywhere bless you, Lord. 

I will bless and praise you with my whole heart.
