Episode 117: Psalm 59

Today's meditation is on Psalm 59

My God! Rescue me from the enemy, for you are the God of Angel Armies. You break out in laughter at the enemy's plans, amused by his arrogance, because he is already a defeated foe.

O God, in you I find my strength, when I wait upon you. I will sing your praises, for you are my place of safety, my mountain fortress. You empower me to rise in triumph. I can always count on you. You are changeless in your love for me, and swift to come and help me. You stagger the enemy with a vivid display of your power, bringing him to his knees. My God reigns as King throughout the world.

At each sunrise, I will sing of your power and mercy. Your strength is my song of joy. For you are my high tower of refuge, a place of safety in the day of my distress. O my Strength, to you I sing my praises. I can always count on you. O my stronghold, I sing your song with you for you are my high tower of safety, my God of mercy. Oh my Savior, I sing with joy of your faithful love for me.
