Day177: 1st Kings 16 and 2nd Chronicles 17

Today on Meditating the Word, Elah reigns over Israel, Zimri conspires against Elah and is killed, Omri reigns over Israel and builds Samaria, after his death, Ahab reigns over Israel, and Jehoshaphat reigns over Judah.

This is Day 177. Today we are reading 1st Kings 16 and 2nd Chronicles 17

Father God, we thank you for your word, and for the examples of steadfast faith of many of the kings of Judah. May we also fear you, and study your word to show ourselves approved and to walk in humble obedience to you.  Amen
