Day 94: Judges 13-15

Today on Meditating the Word, we read about Samson's birth, his marriage to a Philistine, and his revenge on the Philistines: torches in fox tails and a thousand slain with the jawbone of a donkey.

This is Day 94. Today we are reading Judges 13-15

Father God, sometimes we read the accounts in the Old Testament of when your Spirit came upon men and enabled them to do great and miraculous things, and we envy them. We forget, that we have the gift of Holy Spirit with us 24/7, and that we are the body of Christ in the earth. Jesus said that we would do even greater things than what he did when he walked on the earth. Help us, Father, to live in your truth, to listen when Holy Spirit gives us direction, and to boldly do the works of Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray,  Amen.
