Day 92: Judges 8-9

Today on Meditating the Word, Gideon kills Zebah and Zalmunna the kings of Midian, Gideon makes an Ephod, Gideon Dies, Abimelech kills his 70 brothers and reigns for 3 years, Abimelech is killed. 

This is Day 92. Today we are reading Judges 8-9

Father God, We see how easy it is to be led astray. Even Gideon, that might man of valor, took the golden earrings and made an ephod which became an idol to him, his household, and the people of the city. You are our strength, our fortress and our provider. Thank you for the lessons of scripture that you had penned for our instruction. Help us to not be led astray and to put our faith and trust in anything but you, Father.  Amen.
