Day 66: Numbers 28-30

Today on Meditating the Word, we learn about the Daily, Sabbath and Monthly Offerings, the Offerings for Passover and the Day of Atonement, and the Offerings for the Festivals; and we learn about Vows and Oaths. 

This is Day 66. We will be reading Numbers 28-30

Father God, Even though we are no longer bound by the laws of the Old Testament which were fulfilled by Jesus, we recognize the lessons that we can apply to ourselves yet today. You took oaths and vows very seriously, because words are important. Help us to recognize the power of our words, Father, and to not speak rashly or carelessly. Help us to say what we mean and to mean what we say. We were created in your likeness and image, and our words have power. Help us to use our words properly to exercise our dominion over our lives and circumstances, and to live in your promises. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
