Day 61: Numbers 16-17

Today on Meditating the Word, Korah, Dathan and Abiram are swallowed up by the earth for their rebellion, Aaron stands in the gap and stops the plague, Aaron's staff buds and blossoms.

This is Day 61. We will be reading Numbers 16 & 17

Father God, So often we try to blame others, or even you, for what is wrong with our lives instead of taking responsibility for our own actions and mistakes. Help us, Father, to recognize that our actions have consequences and we are often our worst enemies. Still, you are full of love and compassion for us. Help us to do your will Father. And as Aaron, give us the strength to stand between the living and the dead, and intercede for those who do not know you, Father. Give us the courage to stand in the gap for you. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
