Day 53: Leviticus 26-27

Today on Meditating the Word, God promises rewards for obedience and warns of the consequences of disobedience, and gives the procedure for redeeming people, animals and lands that have been dedicated to the Lord. 

This is Day 53. Today we are reading Leviticus Chapters 26-27

Father God, we are so grateful that you show us your character in your Word. You are a just and generous God. Just as there were rewards for obedience for the Children of Israel, we know there are rewards for us today. You still bless those who follow your Word, Father. We have not been redeemed from the blessings, we have been redeemed from the curses. In you we have provision, and peace, and rest. No weapon formed against us can prosper, and no enemy can stand against your people. Thank you for your favor and your blessing, Father. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen
