Day 51: Leviticus 22-23
Today on Meditating the Word, we learn more rules for Priests; unacceptable offerings; and the appointed festivals.
This is Day 51. Today we are reading Leviticus Chapters 22-23

Father God, thank you for having your feasts recorded for us. The symbolism of the Passover, and the blood of the lamb that was slain that protected the children of Israel, pointed forward to the sacrifice of Jesus and our protection with his blood. The First Fruits, which help us to recognize that you are our provider. The Day of Atonement, forshadowing the day that Jesus would atone our sins. In the volume of the book, it was written of Jesus. The Old Testament looked forward to the New Testament, a better covenant. Our sins aren't merely covered, they are gone and forgotten. Thank you, Father. We praise you in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen
