Day 45: Leviticus 5-7

Today on Meditating the Word, we learn about the Guilt Offerings, Burnt Offerings, Grain Offerings, Sin Offerings, Fellowship Offerings and the Priest's Share of the offerings.

This is Day 45. Today we are reading Leviticus Chapters 5-7.

Father God, thank you for revealing your heart to us. You always meet us where we are. Even in the sacrifices, you showed us that. You provided different levels of sacrifice -- options for the people -- depending on their circumstances. You didn't want anyone to be left out of your covenant. You made a way for even the poorest among the children of Israel to bring an offering to you. You haven't changed. You still meet us where we are. And in your love and mercy, you don't leave us there, but provide a way for us to rise above our circumstances. Thank you, Father. You are so good to us.  Amen
