Day 280: Matthew 8 and Mark 2

Today on Meditating the Word: Jesus heals a man with leprosy, the faith of the Centurian, Jesus heals many, the cost of following Jesus, Jesus calms the storm, demons and the herd of pigs, Jesus forgives and heals the paralytic, Jesus calls Levi, Jesus questions about fasting, lord of the Sabbath.

This is Day 280. Today we are reading Matthew 8 and Mark 2

Father God, You are God of all! And it's amazing that through Jesus, You have given us the authority to speak in His name. The same authority He used to cast out demons, to heal the sick, to calm the seas... is available in Him to operate through us. Not as we will, but as You will, Father. So guide us. Open our eyes to the opportunities You place before us to do Your will, to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the earth. In Christ we have been made new, we are new creations, and You have filled us with new wine -- Holy Spirit. May we be willing vessels. Flow through us Father, to establish Your kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven. Amen
