Day 279: John 2-4

Today on Meditating the Word: Jesus changes water to wine, clears the temple courts, and teaches Nicodemus. John testifies again about Jesus, Jesus talks with the woman at the well, and heals an official's son.

This is Day 279. Today we are reading John 2-4

Father God, thank You for the Gospel of John and the accounts of Jesus' miracles -- so rich with symbolism. Thank You for the baptism of Holy Spirit so that we can worship You in Spirit and in Truth. Father, help us to be more like the Samaritans and believe You at Your Word rather than seeking signs and miracles. You have spoken Your will and Your promises over us through Your Word. All You ask is that we believe that Your Word is true so that we can receive everything You have already provided, richly, abundantly for us. Amen
