Day 264: Zechariah 5-9

Today on Meditating the Word: the Flying Scroll, the Woman in a Basket, Four Chariots, a Crown for Joshua, Justice and Mercy, not Fasting, the Lord Promises to Bless Jerusalem, Judgment on Israel's Enemies and the Coming of Zion's King; the Lord will Appear.

This is Day 264. Today we are reading Zechariah 5-9

Father God, in Zechariah's words, we see a prophecy, a glimpse of the coming Savior. Jesus, riding into Jerusalem on foal, the colt of a donkey. And we join in with the chorus singing, Hosana to the King of Kings! Through Your amazing covenant with God the Father on one end, and Jesus the Son on the other--a covenant that doesn't relay on man and cannot be broken. Father, we claim your promises. You have freed us. You will restore us double. Through Jesus, we have overcome. How great is Your goodness. Thank You, Father.  Amen
