Today on Meditating the Word, Jeremiah is threatened with death, Judah is to serve Nebuchadnezzar, the false prophet Hananiah, Jeremiah's letter to the exiles and the Lord's message to Shemaiah
This is Day 226. Today we are reading Jeremiah 26-29
----
Father God, we know that the words of Jeremiah were spoken to the captives in Babylon, but we know these words are just as true for us, Father. So we claim these powerful promises. We know that Your thoughts toward us are thoughts of peace, and not of evil. We know that your purpose is to give us hope and a future. When we pray to You, You listen. When we call on You, You hear us. When we seek You with all of our heart, we find You. Thank You for Your Word, Father. Thank You for the great and precious promises in it. Amen
