Day 211: Isaiah 54-58
Today on Meditating the Word, the future glory of Zion, invitation to the thirsty, salvation for others, God's accusation against the wicked, comfort for the contrite, and true fasting.
This is Day 211. Today we are reading Isaiah 54-58
----
Father God, we claim the promises Isaiah spoke long ago... We enlarge the place of our tents, we lengthen our cords and strengthen our stakes to receive the blessings You have in store for us. With Your everlasting, loving kindness, You have mercy on us. We exchange our ways for Your ways, our thoughts for Your thoughts. Your Word cannot return to You void, Father, but will prosper in our lives where You have sent it. No weapon formed against us can prosper. We enter into Your peace and we delight ourselves in You. Amen
