Day 194: 2nd Chronicles 27 and Isaiah 9-12

Today on Meditating the Word, we read about Jotham's reign over Judah, Isaiah prophesies about the Righteous reign, judgement on the oppressors, the repentant remnant of Israel and more prophecies of the coming Messiah, the shoot from the stump of Jesse.

This is Day 194. Today we are reading 2nd Chronicles 27 and Isaiah 9-12.

Father God, Thank you that though we walked in darkness, we now walk in your marvelous light. You gave your Son, and as Isaiah prophesied, he is our Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, and our Prince of Peace. Through the line of David, just as you promised. And his kingdom and his righteousness is established now and forever more. Amen
