Day 184: 2nd Kings 5-8
Today on Meditating the Word, Naaman is healed of leprosy, an axhead floats, Elisha is surrounded by chariots of fire, there is famine in Samaria, the Shunammite's land is restored, and Hazael murders Ben-Hadad.
This is Day 184. Today we are reading The Second Book of Kings, chapters 5-8
----
Father God, Thank you for your word, and thank you for showing us your heart. You are faithful to your word. No matter how bad things got, how far astray the children of Israel and Judah went, in your abundant mercy, you kept a remnant. And through that blood line, our Savior was born. And Father, no matter how much we mess up an go astray, you are still merciful. Thank you for your love, for your mercy and for your forgiveness. Amen
