Day 178: 1st Kings 17-20

Today on Meditating the Word we read about Elijah's prophecy of drought, the widow of Zarephath, Elijah's raises the widow's son from death, Elijah and the prophets of Baal, the drought ends, Elijah flees from Jezebel, Elijah meets God at Mount Horeb, and Elisha becomes a disciple of Elijah.

This is Day 178. Today we are reading 1st Kings 17-19

Father God, Your provision is amazing. How can we ever doubt that you will provide for us? You sent ravens to feed Elijah, You made a small jar of meal and oil last through a drought, You take care of us always... in sometimes simple, and sometimes miraculous ways. Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness.  Amen
