Day 176: 1st Kings 15 and 2nd Chronicles 13-16

Today on Meditating the Word, Abijam's reign over Judah, Asa's reign over Judah, war between Asa and Baasha, Nadab's reign over Israel and Baasha's reign over Israel. Judah defeats the Ethiopians, Azariah's prophecy, Asa's aliance with Syria, and his death.

This is Day 176. Today we are reading 1st Kings 15 and 2nd Chronicles 13-16

Father God, Over and over again we see that when Your people sought you, when they followed Your Word, they prospered. But, when they allowed pride, or false gods, or trust in their wealth, or their own strength, or that of other nations, they failed. Father, help us to remain faithful to you. To trust in You and You alone all the days of our lives.  Amen
