Today on Meditating the Word, the Ark is brought to the temple, Solomon prays a prayer of dedication, and the temple is dedicated.

This is Day 164. Today we are reading 1st Kings 8 and 2 Chronicles 5

Father God, we try to imagine the sound of 120 trumpets and hundreds of singers praising you... and our imagination falls short. We try to imagine your glory entering the temple, so heavy that the priests couldn't stand before you and minister to you.. and we can't envision it. And we are amazed that you have now chosen to dwell within us, vessels of clay. We are humbled and in awe of you Father. Thank you for loving us that much. Amen
