Day 161: Proverbs 22-24

Today on Meditating the Word, we read more Proverbs of Solomon, sayings of the wise and precepts and warnings.

This is Day 161. Today are reading Proverbs 22-24

Father God, It's easy, and tempting, to compare ourselves to others. But so often, we are comparing ourselves to an illusion. We don't know what lies beneath, or what happens in secret. We judge by outward appearances, but you judge our hearts. Give us humble hearts, Father, and a righteous fear and awe of you. Your favor is better than all the riches of this world. It is our wealth, our honor and our life.  Amen
