Day 145: 1st Chronicles 23-25

Today on Meditating the Word, the Levites are counted and new assignments given for the care of the temple, for judges, for gatekeepers and for musicians and praisers.

This is Day 145. Today we are reading 1st Chronicles 23-25

Father God, we see in these passages how important worship is to you, we see that it is a service, and in the past, it was performed by your priests, set apart for service through the bloodline of Levi. Everything was ordered. You are still a God of order. But now, the only sacrifice you require is a sacrifice of praise. And so we praise you, Father. And we thank you that we live under grace and not the law.  Amen
