Day 129: 2nd Samuel 8-9 and 1st Chronicles 18

Today on Meditating the Word, we read about David's Wars, His Officers and his Kindness to Mephibosheth.

This is Day 129. 2nd Samuel 8-9, and 1st Chronicles 18

Father God, in the account of Mephibosheth, we see not only David's love for Jonathan in keeping his covenant, but we see a foreshadow of Jesus keeping your covenant with Abraham. He rescued us from our Lo DeBar, a place of no pasture, and set us at your table where we eat continually as a child of the King. Thank you, Father, for your faithfulness to your covenant. Thank you for adopting us into your family. Amen
